Anyone know this car
Hi all, new to the forum, I'm on the lookout for a nice 3200, seen this car 2001 Maserati 3200 GT Automatica (carvaultco.com), looks really nice, they mention sticky buttons? not sure what this can mean, also what are the autos like. any help much appreciated.

I had sticky buttons and switches of both my Ferrari 550 and Maserati 3200 GTA. Having paid someone to do the Ferrari I decided to have a go at the Maser myself. You need to refer to diagrams and Utube to see how things like air vents can be removed. EG: the eyeball air vents just pull out and the centre console vents have little tabs that have to be eased back. Just take time and be careful. In terms of cleaning, I tried various fluids and solvents but ended up using good old methylated spirit and a micro-fibre, Takes a while of gentle rubbing to get rid the thin rubbery outer coating to end up with a non-sticky silk finish. Don't go mad or it goes down to a shiny plastic finish. Very satisfying to get it done for a couple of quid.
