I was only able to perform a real test last weekend. The car is driveable again. Much like it used to be, before the problem.

I had it fitted last friday at the maza workshop and as promised it worked perfect from the off , even the throttle response was better from a standstill , much more controllable and less snatchy

it's all good and running great. Idle is smooth, startup quicker, and most importantly it actually responds to my input without jumping all over the place like the old one did!
Can't thank you enough for the advice and help on here, was very useful.
Hopefully now I can start to enjoy driving it a bit more without worrying about it trying to kill me with its unpredictability!
